Did you see our exterior paint reveal this week? I still get excited every time I pull into the driveway. The exterior of our home feels so much more like ‘us’ now.

Last Friday was my 30th birthday. After a rough season for the last years of my twenties I am excited to be starting a new decade. 30 feels good.

We recently starting using the compost pick up service from Compost Collective KC and have been loving it! We tried composting on our own for a while (and maybe we will again someday), but this service is fantastic for people like us who want to contribute less food waste to the landfill, but don’t have a compost bin in their yard.

Do you have a hobby? This article made we want to take up a new hobby. Pottery is the first that came to mind.

We’ve been wanting a new duvet, ours is from Ikea and has been fine for 3 years, but the button area is breaking and in general it’s showing a lot of wear. This linen set is on sale and I am loving the color. Bonus – it’s made in a fair trade factory and OEKO-TEX certified.

Cathy’s beautiful laundry room is complete. I love the DIY air drying rack – such a unique and cool idea!

Thought I’m not participating I am following along closely with a few of my favorite’s One Room Challenge’s this season. I cannot get over Sarah’s fireplace. I Just know Erin’s kitchen is going to be amazing – the cabinet color is dreamy.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend! We have plans for picking up lots of leaves that have finally finally and birthday celebrations with our families.
