The Friday 5 (v2)

September 8, 2017

Welcome to The Friday 5 for this week where I share interior design ideas,  home decor inspiration, DIY, and organization tips and tricks… and really anything else as it comes to mind!

This modern farmhouse living room by Sita Montgomery is amazing! The coffee table, those benches, and the rug… wish I could transport it all into my living room! Also, the fireplace is definite inspiration for our 20ft fireplace. Haha, maybe we will make a decision on whether we should paint it or not. Maybe.

The Rose Chair by Interior Define has been on my wish list for our living room for a while now. I love the traditional rolled arms and the turned wood legs with casters. It would be the perfect traditional piece to pair with our more modern sectional to give the eclectic feel I am hoping to achieve in our living room. I think I would go with a a darker fabric (maybe the Slate in Heavy Cloth). Plus Interior Define is having their annual sale with 15% off right now!!! I’ll either have to pull the trigger or wait until the sale comes around again next year.

The fall home tour by Remington Avenue is gorgeous! She uses fall colors in such a beautiful way. I love all of the burgundy hues!

I love following Inspiralized. She has such amazing recipes and general healthy living tips. I recently came across this post about time-blocking. I started using a time-blocking strategy at a my day job and it has really increased my productivity, then I read this article and made me realize I was missing out by not applying it to my personal life (and blog life) as well.

This vegan apple crisp by the Minimalist Baker is going to be made this weekend. I have been craving apple crisp lately and I love the Minimalist Baker’s recipes. Seriously, we have tried sooo many of her recipes and they do not disappoint!! So many great vegan and gluten free options too, if you’re into that sort of thing.

Have a great weekend friends!

    1. Hi Allie, thank you so much for including my fall tour into your friday 5. Looks like I could use that time blocking method too.
