Ikea now carries a version that look pretty decent online at least. For $4 I think I will have to…

The Friday 5 (v2)

Welcome to The Friday 5 for this week where I share interior design ideas,  home decor inspiration, DIY, and organization tips and tricks… and really anything else as it comes to mind! ONE This modern farmhouse living room by Sita Montgomery is amazing! The coffee table, those benches, and the rug... wish I could transport it all into my living room! The walls had painted over wallpaper, but other than that it was a blank slate. We just moved in the washer and dryer and put up some temporary shelving unit to act as a pantry. After our popcorn ceilings were scraped, skim coated, and…

One Room Challenge Week 4: Hall Bath

There's only two weeks left of the One Room Challenge, how can that be? It feels like we just started on in yesterday. We finished installing the plank walls and trim. We decided on stool moulding to cap off the top of the plank wall since we only went 3/4 up the wall. We looked at different ideas for how to cap of the plank walls with trim and what I was initially envisioning wasn't in stock at our local…

One Room Challenge Week 3: Hall Bath

It’s week three of the One Room Challenge for our hall bath! Things are coming along, although visually not too much has changed. This week we worked on installing the plank walls using plywood underlayment that we had ripped down to 8 inch planks at Home Depot and our trusty nail gun. We only got about halfway done because we realized we needed to borrow a table saw to rip the bottom boards down smaller than 8 inches to fit…
